Hörtheater is Stephane´s second official solo release (first: schmalfilmer ep rmx 2003, naivsuper 001).
Hörtheater is a silent record gaining its strength from the numerous layers of sound that develop into cozy thickness. Long stretched tones, small loops and shy harmonic drones form this record that rather wants to be a theater play for the ears than anything else. The songs are scenes that work without any physical action, but are populated by tiny gestures, stares, unspoken and undone things telling a story within the story within the story.... This musical play is based on the sensuality of the ears, interpretated by the brain and then spread over the body in small electric shockwaves.
Hörtheater is emotional minimalism, it is music and experiment, an ambient sound_landscape, vast and foggy... or a warm breeze in a cold autumn night.
